In the north of Italy, the Veneto region is home to some of the country’s finest wines, from valpolicella to soave – but its biggest hit is undoubtedly prosecco. On this whistle-stop four-day escape, you’ll explore the lush, grape-producing hills and charming villages north of Treviso where the very best prosecco is bottled. Next, you’ll head to a winery to sample some for yourself, then explore the atmospheric waterways and secretive bacari bars of Venice. Chin-chin, as the Italians say. All of our trips are flightless in destination, with 100% of all carbon emissions offset. It's just part of how we see the world while being good to it.
In the heart of rural Veneto, this 17th-century villa combines contemporary cool with classic country-style charm. Rooms featuring beamed ceilings, terracotta-tiled floors and four-poster beds are cosy and luxurious, while downstairs, a gleaming fitness centre and spa – fitted with more coloured LEDs than the Starship Enterprise – are slick and stylish. There are activities galore, from billiards to volleyball, and the pool’s big enough to give Michael Phelps a workout.
